About Bharat Pulse
Bharat Pulse is a neutral, near real-time window into what India is talking about: its politics, public debates and news, across all 28 states and 8 union territories, refreshed every five minutes.
What you will find here
- States. For every state and union territory, public posts on X and top news of the last 24 hours, each linked to its source.
- PM Modi and Opposition. The Prime Minister's and opposition leaders' own public posts first, then the wider conversation about them. Leaders are listed alphabetically.
- Public: Support and Public: Criticism. A hashtag-based tracker of posts by ordinary users. It is not sentiment analysis.
- News Agencies. Each agency's own posts on X (PTI, ANI, IANS and UNI) with links to every post, plus their latest web stories, side by side.
- Regional. Top stories from Google News editions in Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam and Punjabi.
- World and Today's Summary. India and the world, and the day's top three national stories, picked by a simple, stated rule (no AI).
- Tools. Search and filters, merged duplicate stories, verification flags with fact-checker links, trending terms, an experimental tone chart, CSV export and a print-friendly view.
Our mission
Public conversation in India moves fast and is scattered across thousands of accounts, outlets and languages. Bharat Pulse brings it together on one clean page that works on any phone, so citizens, students, journalists and researchers can see what is being said, by whom and where, without spin.
How we stay neutral
- We do not write or rewrite the posts and headlines we show. Every item links to its original publisher or author.
- Items are selected by transparent automated rules (recency, relevance to a state or person, hashtags used). Nothing is hand-picked to favour any side.
- Automated labels are marked as automated, and experimental features are marked experimental.
Who runs it
Bharat Pulse is an independent project created and maintained by Sajan. It is not affiliated with X Corp., Google, any news agency, political party or government body.
